I've been exactly where you are, and I understand the challenges and aspirations that come with building a successful career in the PMU industry.
I vividly recall the early days when I believed that enrolling in another course would magically enhance my before-and-after results and bring in a flood of clients. I thought that if I could just afford one more course, my skills would improve, and success would follow. However, reality hit hard when my credit cards were maxed out, and my appointment book remained empty. I couldn't understand why other artists were being tagged and recommended all over the internet while I struggled to gain recognition.
But then, something changed. I realized that mastering my skillset was only part of the equation. I began investing time and effort into marketing, understanding that "If you build it, they will come" mentality. As a result, clients started to find their way to my door, and I soon found myself in need of a team. I embraced this new phase by establishing The Microblading Institute to share my knowledge, eventually expanding and franchising it to six locations across the US. This journey led me to coach hundreds of beauty businesses both domestically and internationally.
Driven by the desire to create an even larger impact, I ventured into e-commerce with BrowSister, offering my own line of products. I also began speaking at international events, and before I knew it, prominent artists were reaching out to be guests on my podcast. The rest, as they say, is history.
I share my story with you not to boast, but to illustrate that I've walked the path you're on. I've faced the same struggles, the same doubts, and the same dreams. Today, I am confident that I can help you achieve your aspirations because I've developed the playbook. It's not about cheating; it's about mentorship.
